I just added a new plug-in to the site that allows me to share photo galleries, collections and images from my print store. Since I moved to Utah I’ve looked forward to the leaves turning. The fall here is spectacular – especially for photographers. The lower elevation maples go first, turning bright red. The aspens up higher in the mountains turn next. They go in pockets, with the north-facing, protected trees turning bright, acid yellow. Eventually all the aspens turn and the mountains are painted with gold. Sometimes the aspens even get a bit of red, adding a blush to the groves. When we get really lucky, snow falls while the leaves are still on the trees and the mountains are dressed in frosted fall colors for a day or so.
