My 2017 Fears Tears & Beers mountain bike race photos are posted. Thanks to Kelly and Kent for continuing to hold the mountain bike enduro race (this was the 12th year). Thanks also to all the volunteers, sponsors and racers. I love shooting the Fears Tears & Beers mountain bike race. It’s a great landscape, Ely is a great town and the loose, chundery trails – especially Whorehouse Hill – make it super fun to watch and shoot. Plus, where else do you get to ride in a casino?
The possibility of getting photos of mountain bikers racing through a casino is what originally got me out to Ely. Then, Kent showed me around the trails and I got to know the town, the people and the area a bit. I haven’t missed a Fears Tears and Beers mountain bike race since and it’s become one of my very favorite events to attend and cover.
All of the 2017 Fears Tears & Beers mountain bike race photos are below. There are 172 photos so keep scrolling.
